The Police Salou celebrates the festival of the patron Saint Michael at the Torre Vella

Salou. Costa Dorada. The Local Police of Salou has held this September 29, 2011 the day of Saint Michael Archangel custodian and trustee of the Police. The Torre Vella (Old Tower) was the scene again this morning, the institutional event which focussed on a festive atmosphere, camaraderie and unity of the local security forces, along with a wide deployment of vehicles and representation other forces such as the Catalan police and Civil Guard. The event was chaired by the Mayor of the City of Salou, and Pere Granados had the presence of First Deputy Mayor Mario Garcia and councilors of the council. The Chief Inspector of Police, Jose Luis Gargallo, has been commissioned to begin the ceremony with a speech which has stock of work done by the local police from different areas: Civic Order, Security Plan Traffic, security cameras, awareness campaigns and stressed that "we can be fully satisfied because delinquüència rates are below other municipalities." Jose Luis Gargallo Civic pointed out that the Ordinance is a law, but regulations must be complied with in matters that touch on what this ordinance is that it wants the town: the town says no to alcohol, not on prostitution, not to uncivil behavior and civility to it. " Meanwhile, the mayor, Pere Granados, thanked the efforts of the local police from Salou to give excellent service to citizens and visitors and has made available to other police forces, with special mention of efforts towards greater provision to be made from the Government Office to strengthen the body of the Autonomous Police. It also said "this government has a clear priority for safety as we maintain the level of quality in this area," and added that "all authorities and the local is not free, are affected by crisis, but security will not have adjustments to other areas of the City Council that they will see reduced expenditure on the chapter staff. " Finally, the Mayor wanted to ensure that "our priority because we have not ruled it to be good to run good, good management and to rationalize public resources." This year as a novelty, compared to other years, visited the exhibition at the Torre Vella "the history of the Police" with photos from the seventy years to the present Local Police Salou and other items provided by different agents.
