The pianist Richard Rovirosa closes the Autumn Season at Pau Casals Auditorium

El Vendrell. Costa Dorada. The pianist Ricard Rovirosa will close  2009 Fall Season of Pau Casals Auditorium of el Vendrell, making a piano recital on Sunday 13 December at 12 noon. This concert also will close the programming of concerts in 2009. Rovirosa Richard was born in Barcelona in 1986. He began his piano studies with his father and Mercedes Salieti. In 1996 he entered the Choir of Montserrat where he studied piano with Vincent plums. In 2000 he continued his studies with M. Reñaga Louise and Albert Attenelle School of Music in Barcelona. He has been awarded the prize in contests such as City Berga PEMAC (case Madrid) and Ciudad Murcia. The side chamber music has also received awards in competitions such as Junior Chamber and the City of Manresa Award. He has performed in concert series like "30 Minutes in the Quarry" (Mas and foundation Mas), "Young Artists" (Chichester Cathedral), "New Values, Youth & Classical" (organized by JMB) and "New Century Records Century "(SGAE), and in rooms such as the Auditorium of Terrace, theater Juan Bravo (Segovia), church of the Ateneo Barcelonès Royal Monastery of Santa Maria de Poblet. In 2007 performed as soloist for a tour of Murcia, where he played, among other venues concert at the Teatre Romea. Currently continues his graduate studies in piano with Joan Havill higher at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London), which was accepted with award hearing. It has also been awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture. The program has prepared for this concert comprises a first part Study of the concert, no. 2, Franz Liszt, and Sonata no. 2 R
