Opening of the Fourth Edition of Maritime Fair in Costa Daurada

Salou. Costa Dorada. The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, the Councillor for Economic Development, Marc Montagut, along with the mayor of Cambrils, Robert Benaiges along with other political authorities and representatives acting Yacht Club of Salou and Cambrils showed q ourth Edition Maritime Fair in the Gold Coast which will take place from the 27th May until 29 May 2011 at Club Náutico de Salou. This year, the outdoor exhibition space located within the facilities of the Club Náutico de Salou. The renowned yachtsman Natalia Via-Dufresne explained his experience as a sailor in the Barcelona World Race. This elite athletes participated in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, in Atlanta (USA), and in Sydney (2000) and in Athens (2004) and in Beijing (2008). Throughout his career he has achieved three bronze medals at the World Sailing Championships, two medals at the Mediterranean Games (one gold) and two more medals at the European Championship in sailing (a of them gold). Following the talk of the sailor, was having a singing Habanera from overseas with the group, located in Paseo Jaime I, next to the Yacht Club in Salou. Meanwhile, on Saturday 28 May 2011 will take place several baptisms and outputs lute, kayaking and sailing, among other types of navigation, as well as talks on fishing and a talk on the Draft Ecoinmar 12.00 . It is a sustainable ship, silent, free of CO2. The same Saturday at 14 hours there will be a popular fideuá Yacht Club with a price of 2 euros. At 20 hours, inaugurated the exhibition of pintrua autres Antonio Ruiz Vaca in the same facility. Sunday, among other activities, boat trips will cruise the Gold Coast, or baptism of diving as well as a children's show by the company Brotters Panettone. The Fair is open to all people in general and especially lovers of water sports, beach, fishing and cultural activities and culinary related. The objectives, among others, to promote the marina and maritime character of the two towns, promoting the sector to generate wealth and jobs, increase tourism and promote cultural elements related to the maritime world, promote the exchange of experiences and encourage the establishment of new businesses in the region.
