Ninety children participate in sports activities for Easter

Vandellòs. Costa Dorada. 3rd April 2012. Ninety children are taking part in activities organized by the City of Vandellòs Hospitalet to promote the practice of sport and support for families this Easter: forty and fifty in the colonies in days of coaching swimming, handball, football, basketball and alternative sports. The colonies, aimed at children from age 4, seek to promote the rules of coexistence and mutual respect and combine sports (basketball, handball, swimming) activities related to nature and craft workshops. The sessions coaching swimming, handball, football and basketball, however, are designed for youth aged 7 years, and seek perfection in these sports. Under these proposals, the Association Gold Coast, part of the Federation of Physically Handicapped and Organic MISTRAL COCEMFE Tarragona, carried out on Tuesday 3 April a day of awareness about the importance prevent risks of carelessness and not commit to avoid accidents. On this day, in addition, children were able to experience for themselves what sport is for everyone, playing for example, with handball and basketball wheelchairs. This year, as a novelty, the City has committed to "make people" and has offered the possibility to all the subscribers of staying at the Residence Sport Aster Hospitalet de l'Infant, instead of doing it Prades, as the previous year.
