A new edition of Salou Actiu for winter 2010

Salou. Costa Dorada. The Department of Culture and Festivals and the Department of Children and Youth Town Hall have organized a new Salou Actiu Winter 2010 edition of which will take place between the months of January, February and March. The reason for continuing the project is that Salou Actiu has had great success the past editions. So the Fall 2009 Salou Actiu ended the year with 500 registrations and a high demand in most courses and workshops. Proof of this was that they were having to extend or make more sessions to accommodate all registered. After completing the workshops, participants assess them and unanimously gave the highest scores in each of the aspects that were asked, such as course content, meeting the expectations or the level of learning during the course. The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, explained that "we are pleased to continue conducting recreational and cultural initiative that open the possibility of knowledge and training courses and workshops to all salouencs, from youngest to most adults" . He added that "the experience is very rewarding for social involvement and citizen participation in programming, since they have heard their concerns and proposals." Meanwhile the Councilor of Culture and Festivals, Isabel Aguilera, explained: "We have renovated many of the programs for this winter and hopefully have the same or better than the scheduled host the previous edition. This new edition of the 2010 Winter Salou Actiu will have new and innovative courses and workshops, all aimed at children, youth and adults in the municipality. For his part, Councilor of the Children and Youth, Julia Gomez, said that "with this initiative we want all children and young people in workshops all over town to participate and have fun while training, because the idea is to enter the population with education activities in leisure, which reinforce the knowledge and learning. " As of Thursday 7th of January until Thursday 14 January, will begin registrations for the various courses and workshops at the Department of Culture and Festivals. Registration Hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm and from 5 to 8pm. The programming of this edition includes: a course of DJs, a course in electronic music production, graphic design course, an introductory class in windows, an introductory class in programs for office, workshop of Carpa dancing, herbs workshop, workshop for beginners to digital photography, furniture restoration workshop, a foot reflexology workshop, a workshop on caring for bonsai, an outing to the Barcelona Zoo, talk about practical tips for traveling, among many others.
