Salou. Costa Dorada. Within the Christmas program the Department of Children and Youth Town Hall Salou in co-operation with the Association of Breeders of pedigree birds has organized an exhibition of birds and animals at the Masia Catalana in Salou on Buhigues Street. The exhibition which will be starting next Monday, December 14 will remain open until 6 January. Visiting times the farm is from 5pm to 9pm on weekdays and from 10.30 to 1.30pm and 5pm to 9pm Sundays and holidays. The Councilor for Youth and Children, Julia Gomez explained: "With this initiative we want to promote an educational role and bring all the animals native Catalan, in a space adapted for the occasion." It is therefore a actrivitat especially aimed at children of the house can enjoy a rare space in the middle of a city. In addition to the councilor added that "we plan a visit to the farm with town centers so that students enjoy these specimens rarely seen." Among the great variety that is installed to override Catalan farmhouse specimens can find it curious such as the Hen Menorquina the Muscovy Duck, the Penedesenca chicken , Hen Almond Flower or "Quiques" and the Empordanesa goose, the turkey Mallorquí, among many others. During the show we see multiple copies of each species in a habitat suitable for the occasion. In addition the same house hold 3 performances nativity scene. These will be held on 19 December at 18pm, on 25 December and 1 January at seven in the evening. The first of the performances, the 19 December will also serve as a framework to follow closely the Christmas message from Mayor Pere Granados and will be served the traditional Christmas soup.
