Maria del Mar Bonet kicks off the spring season of the Auditorium Josep Carreras

Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. On Friday 10 February 2012 at 10pm. Maria del Mar Bonet will open the spring season in the auditorium of Jose Carreras Vila-seca. Awarded in 2011 with the prestigious International Cubadisco, Maria del Mar Bonet moved the concert held in Havana in two of the most important halls of Catalonia, Auditorium Sant Cugat and Josep Carreras in Vila-seca. This time the singer presented in the Festival Barnasants, 'Islands of the Sea' and accompanied some of the popular Cuban musicians under the musical direction of bassist Jorge Reyes. A great opportunity to hear the best of Cuba, grown near the Caribbean Sea, play a song with the singer born in the Mediterranean. In the second part, the singer invited the Chamber Orchestra of Vila-seca to the stage to interpret the Mediterranean more symphonic Bellver, directed by Enrique Perez-Mesa, conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba. Tickets, priced at  20 euros, are on sale or at ServiCaixa José Carreras Auditorium one hour before the concert.
