The magazine Gastronomy and Tourism celebrates 25 years giving prizes and awards

La Pineda Platja. Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. The magazine 'Gastronomy and Tourism', directed by Felix Llovell and Ramon Segú, this year celebrates its 25th anniversary. For this reason, this past Friday, 11 June 2010, Tourism and Gastronomy's dinner will be held at Hotel Grand Palas, the Beach Pineda (Vila-seca) event during which the publication 'Food and Tourism' awarded special prizes and awards to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the publication. In addition, this event of 25 years 'Gastronomy and Tourism' was held jointly with the Association of Tarragona Gourmets 'entity that is advised by journalist and critic Felix Gourmet Accurate, who also directs' Gastronomy and Tourism. The ceremony commemorating the 25th anniversary of 'Gastronomy and Tourism' began with an aperitif in the gardens of the Grand Wheel, the only five star hotel that is central to the Costa Dorada and just celebrate these days its first anniversary. Afterwards, and before dinner, prepared by the chef of the Grand Wheel, Ion Garcia, was the presentation of prizes awarded for 'Gastronomy and Tourism', consisting of an old Amfora recalls that the use of this ware by the Romans to transport oil and wine ancient Roman Tarraco. The awards were presented by directors 'Gastronomy and Tourism', Accurate and Ramon Felix Segú, the chairman of the council and Mayor of Vila-seca, Josep Poblet, president of the Association for Gourmets of Tarragona, and by President Emilio Mateo Foundation crucible, Antonio Puente and relapsed on: Best Restaurant 2010: Can Fabes, Santi Santamaria. Best restaurant in the Tarragona region 2010: Joan Gatell Joan sciences. Best Italian restaurant 2010: Giorgio, Giorgio Serafini. Best Director hall 2010: Joseph Monk, Via Veneto. Best Hotel 2010: Hotel Grand Wheel, Indaleci Salas. Best Relais & Chateaux 2010: Mas de Torrent, Xavier Roca. Best Hotel and Restaurant in Germany 2010: Bareiss, Herman Bareiss. Best Champagne 2010: Henry Abele, Freixenet, Angel Pereda. 2010 Best Wine: Clos Montblanc Comes The Farmhouse Book 2005, wineries Concavins Antoni Casablancas. Best Water 2010: Vichy Catalan, Joan Renart. The awards ceremony ended with parliaments, on behalf of the awardees, the prestigious chef Santi Santamaria and Joan Renart. The Mayor of Vila-seca, Josep Poblet, finished congratulating both parliaments as winners Felix and Ramon Accurate Follow the work of 25 years at the helm of 'Gastronomy and Tourism. Dinner, by Ion Garcia, chef of the Grand Palais De La Pineda Beach began with transparent ravioli shrimp, crab soup with seafood and sprouts; octopus with chickpeas crust with bacon, mashed potato purple and ratatouille, culminating with kid goat with sheep milk and spiced tabouleh in turmeric. The desserts, babaroise Catalan cream with caramelized pineapple coconut ice cream, while the wines were Atrium, Clos Montblanc Freixenet Cava Brut Reserva Malvasia and Golden Source mineral waters and Vichy Catalan.
