The horse races of the Cós de Sant Antoni and the Pallassòdrom, in Vila-seca's Winter Festival

Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. Since January 13th 2011 and until 30th, Vila-Seca will host the Winter Festival, this year bringing back more of the Pallassòdrom and as well as countless activities, the traditional Cós of San Antoni, declared by the Government festive heritage item of national interest and with three great prizes. The Government declares of national interest the Cós of San Antoni The Government has declared holiday heritage item of national interest the Cós of San Antoni of Vila-seca, a recognition that allows the event to be held in Vila-seca from the late nineteenth century to remain available to registered heritage public holiday in Catalonia. The traditional horse racing, known as the body of San Antonio are part of the events of the festival, held on 17 January. Pallassòdrom 2011 The surprise of this year is probably the Pallassòdrom Race of Clowns Joan Busquets which will be held on January 22 at 11am at Plaça Voltes. In this event everyone can participate as long as they bring a nose and clown makeup and the number with the number you want. For other activities a tent located in the Plaza of Alexander Fleming. Here everyone can enjoy magic shows and a Grand Festival of the same 22 January. The races of the Cós of San Antoni On 16 January 2011 will take place at the Circuit Hípic Torre d´en Dolça in the traditional Cós of Sant Antoni. There will be three races: The 1st. Race. Municipal Tourism Award of Vila-Seca and the 2nd. Race. Award "la Caixa", both with a distance of 1.700m. And the 3rd. Race Grand Prize City of Vila-seca, with a distance of 2.500m. Each equipped with awards from 1000 to 5000 euros.
