Club Náutico Salou appoints two new members of honor

Salou. Costa Dorada. Club Náutico Salou has recently appointed two new members of Honor in recognition of his career at the club. This is Antonio and Juan Bosch Foz, since almost always linked to the history of the club. Antoni Foz is from its founding in 1967, a member of the Yacht Club until 2011 has been a member of this board. In 1993 he was awarded the Gold Club and Bright, following marked 25 years as board member. During his career, Antonio Foz has also been awarded by the Catalan Sailing Federation and the Government, he was awarded the Medal of forgers of Sport in Catalonia. During his time as a sportsman, he excelled in athletics, tennis, sailing and swimming, the sport in that part of the pre-Olympic national team. Meanwhile, Joan Bosch was a member of the Club since 1973 and six years later he joined the board of which was its secretary, treasurer and member. This period highlights the social construction of the building and pool club. Juan Bosch was involved during the decades of 70 and 80 in sailing regattas, particularly in the 470 class teamed with Antoni Foz. Joan Bosch left us a few months ago. With the appointment of Anthony and Joan Bosch Foz, Club Náutico Salou currently has four members of Honor. So far, this distinction is held by only the Spanish royal family as Prince Felipe and Princess Christina are from the 90s. The presentation of the awards was made last Saturday and collected it in the hands of the President of the Club, Godofredo Dominguez, Antonio Foz itself, and the widow of Joan Bosch, Encarnacion Domingo.
