Chamber Music Concert with Metamorphosis in Pau Casals Auditorium

El Vendrell. Costa Dorada. Metamorphosis Trio, winners of the prestigious Chamber Music Montserrat Alavedra 2011 awarded Unnim Welfare, will be present on Sunday 13 November 2011 at 12 pm, the Pau Casals Auditorium of El Vendrell. This concert is part of the program of music in the Fall Series. The Trio consists of Nora Stankowsky Metamorphoses, violin; Liina Leijala, cello, and Giorgios Fragkos, piano. It is a formation created in 2006 at the International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid. They have studied with teachers and Ralf Gothoni Nebolsin Eldar. Also participated in classes master Ferenc Rados, Menahem Pessler, Bruno Canino and Edward Brunner.  In November 2010 they won first prize at the Tenth Chamber Music Competition Montserrat Alavedra of Terrace. They have given concerts in venues such as Batlló Barcelona, the Palau de Fernan Nunez of Madrid, Juan March Foundation in Madrid and in the series "Generation ascendente" at the National Auditorium of Madrid. As a more immediate projects out a concert tour in Catalonia. He opened the 2009-10 and 2010-11 years of IIMCM extraordinary concerts with the Sony Auditorium, where he also participated frequently in the context of the cycles "prelude" and "Da Camera." The concert they have prepared for this occasion has a program with two important works: Trio no. 2 in C major, Op. 87, by Johannes Brahms, and in contrast Trio no. 2 I minor, Op. 67, by Dmitri Shostakovich.
