The 21st edition of the Urban Mile Vandellòs becomes more popular

Vandellòs. Costa Dorada. The organizers of the XXI Mile Urban Vandellòs (the Centro Cultural, Sports and Recreational Vandellòs, with the collaboration of several entities, including City Council has Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant) s' raised as a main goal for this edition of the athletic competition, the participation of families and enjoy a great afternoon playing sports in the streets of the town. With this aim, they introduced some changes to make it more popular. So this year, rather than held on Sunday, as usual, will be held on Saturday (specifically, on 8 October 2011, after 17 h), so that all families are can go and compete, as will the next day festival. There will be trophies for 1st and the first three categories of local prebenjamí, Benjamin, junior, children, youth, youth and veterans, and also for the first 3 and 1 local categories all male and all female. There will also be a special prize of $ 100 to the circuit record in absolute categories. After the race, will offer hot chocolate both for participants and companions for all athletes will receive a gift. Those interested in taking part in this competition can sign up on the same day, from 16 and up to half an hour before the start of each racing. Registration is free. Last year attended by over 200 people from different backgrounds.
