Cultural tour around the quarter of the town of Valls showing its broad historical and artistic heritage, among which stands the magnificent church, Archpriest of St. John, the Town Hall and Court streets and Call. This walk through the capital of Calçot can be complemented with a visit to the Valleys Museum, which houses one of the collections of Catalan art in recent times, since 1875 until today, the most important country. We begin the trek to the Plaza del Portal Nou, where access to the N-240 coming from Tarragona and Lleida. At the northern end of the square should turn right and follow the street of the Jews by the Call (1). This is where old, between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries, housed the Jewish Quarter. Designed by architect Luis Planas in 1918 was the first library built by the Commonwealth of Catalonia (currently being restored and remains closed to the public). Finally, you can visit the Museum of Valls (16), on the other side of the sanctuary and in front of the Library. It has an extensive collection of over a thousand pieces, paintings, sculptures and drawings made by Catalan artists from 1875 to the present. Authors such as Manolo Hugué, Joan Miro, Antoni Tapies and James Mercadé are present. Also on display pictures of authors as famous as Francis Catalan-Roca, Peter and Xavier Miserachs Catalan and Pico. There is an important archaeological collection focused on the Iberian period, but now is not visited. The museum is processed, plus the creation of future Casteller Museum in Valls.
