 The Corb River Valley offers a contrasting landscape of mountains and plateaus of extensive forests and thickets. The path to discover, too, on several medieval towns. In Vallfogona of Riucorb, stands the old, castle and medieval Gothic church of Santa Maria, who ruled in the seventeenth century the great poet and writer Vicente Garcia, known as the Rector of Vallfogona. In Savallà County and Safe, we see the streets and the ruins of ancient castles. The starting point is the route of Vallfogona Riucorb. To get there from Montblanc, take the road C-241 to Santa Coloma de Queralt and continue towards the NO T-224. 0.00 km (560 m). Vallfogona of Riucorb. Arch Street, near the road. Follow the road towards SE-224 T / E and the outskirts of town, passing near the spa Vallfogona (1.80 km, 590 m). This spa, surrounded by gardens and a forest of pine and oak, take underground mineral waters from the valley. It continues the journey by road to the east. 3.20 km (610 m). Bend in the road turn left (N) to cross the Corb River by a bridge. Leave the road and take a paved path that goes straight into the E. 175 m after the tomb on the right track (S). It climbs up the western slope of the ditch Savall, tributary of Crow River, and is towards the road to Savallà del Comtat (TV-2244). 6.32 km (783 m). TV-2244 Road. It falls to the left (E) and 400 meters further, you enter Savallà del Comtat, a small village crowned by the remains of a twelfth century castle that you can visit (there are a large antenna on the back). It gets to the fork in the road above, left to right (NO) has been where the deflection and 70 meters later (8.08 km, 778 m), giving up the asphalt and s 'Take a hint from the right (SO) that climbs to the plans of the well.
