HALL OF POETRY Reading poems Victor Verdú and Eduard Batlle Presentation by Professor Maria Jesus Perez spinnaker Friday, 6 May 2011 • 7 pm Civic Center "Les Basses" - Cambrils **************** VICTOR Verdú (Almenar, 1974) graduated in Catalan Philology and has completed various specialty music (music theory, harmony, acoustic, piano ...); also has two courses of doctorate in Catalan literature. He is master of language and literature secondary education. In 1994 he was a finalist for XXX Amadeu Oller Award for unpublished poets. In 1997 he obtained the slope of the Poetry Award with the work Fur hell. He also collaborated on several publications, including the margins. Journal of Language and Literature, Reductions and coke a day. In 2006 he participated as an organist in the disk flowers minstrel, Xavier Baron. He has also participated in the album Away from the road, the same songwriter, and published in 2009. His latest book of poems is the way of water (2009). Eduard Batlle (Lleida, 1974) graduated in Philosophy from the University of Girona and is currently studying Social and Cultural Anthropology (UNED). Professor of Philosophy at a secondary school education Mollerussa combines this work with storytelling for children and adults, an activity that began in 2000. In 1996 won the fourth prize of the Institute of Philosophy of Consciousness Studies Ilerdencs for work and society. He has published several collections of poems (of a Singular Plural, The Catalan letters, e-poems). With Praise Unrest (2010), his first book of poems, was the fourth finalist Poetry Prize 2010 Josep Maria Benet and Caparo
