Days begin gastronomic Octopus in Mont-Roig del Camp and Miami Playa

From 5 until June 21, a total of 15 restaurants took part in the II Octopus Gourmet in Mont-Roig del Camp and Miami Platja. The celebration of a festival on the promenade of Crystal Beach, on Sunday June 14, is the main development planned for the second edition of the conference, an initiative created last year to strengthen and revitalize the catering sector deseasonalizing local and the tourist season. On this day, each restaurant will offer a taste of dishes cooked with octopus in his letter that offered during the day, at a nominal price (3 euros / two tickets).

The day comes as a proposal of the catering sector, represented in the technical committee set up last October to promote the gastronomic days after the welcome they had last year. So, 2000 was served octopus dishes.

In this second edition, includes 15 local restaurants: A Prop, Buba's, els Prats campsite, Can Salvador, Chez Lorenzo, Mas d'en Blader, the Monestir the Olive, the Vaixell the Riviera, the Borda d'en Manel , Mas d'en Romeu, Florida, Rías Baixas and Txangurro. These establishments have prepared meals and menus based Octopus on their cards offering up to June 21.

Among those who tested these proposals were drawn octopus eating 26 meals / dinners for two people, 40 tickets to Port Aventura and 40 tickets to Aquopolis. To that end they must fill out the chips you find in all the restaurants participating in the conference.
