The Cyber ​​Source renews its show of water, light and music

Salou. Costa Dorada. 04 August 2019. Salou City Council has just released the renewed show of water, light and music of the Cyber ​​Fountain, which is one of the most important attractions of the capital of the Costa Dorada. The proposal that brings together hundreds of people every night to enjoy the magic of water and light games to the sound of music in the middle of the Jaume I promenade was not modified for 12 years.

The renovation of the show has been coupled with the improvement works of the Salou fountains, awarded in 2018. Specifically, the submersible solenoid valve system, the control system and the software that manages the cyber fountain shows have been completely renewed. This project did not include the show itself, which has been carried out by the Playmodes company. More specifically, the creator of the show is Salouense Eduard Llorens, and has named it "A symphony of light."

"A symphony of light" has a soundtrack of its own composition from electronic bases, with classical instrumentation and special effects, which evolves from a simple and abstract beginning, to a complex end and great harmonies. The show is divided into 4 parts:

• Genesis (introduction, calm, uncovered: only water and light)
• Duality (separation, contrast and disorder: with water, light and abstract video, only laser, more water curtain)
• Storm (chaos, search, transmutation: with water, light and laser)
• Peace (flow, light, bridges, destination: with all the elements).

The new show has a duration of 15 minutes and will be held every day at 10pm until September 11th. However, before and after the show itself (at 9pm and 11pm) you can enjoy the display of a musical appetizer of about 3 minutes, based on pop music. From September 11 the show will be held at 9pm.

The first exhibition of the new show of the Cybernetic Fountain of Salou took place on August 3, 2019, and was attended by the mayor of the municipality, Pere Granados, and other members of the City Council. Granados stressed that "Salou, today, enjoys the best spectacle of water, color, sound and music in Spain and Europe, both by residents, Salouenses, and by the significant number of visitors it is receiving", and has qualified as "singular" and "as one of the most modern and current".
