The Department of Youth again organize two activities during these holidays, which offers a series of recreational acts that are known by the people of Salouenses and that put a finishing touch to the year 2018 with regard to the offer of municipal events for the citizenship. This is the Parc Jove and the New Year Party, which concentrate a series of activities for all ages ranging from music, games or sports. Today, December 29 and tomorrow, day 30, the Town Hall will open the Pavilion Salou Ponent from 16 to 20 hours to house the Parc Jove de Navidad. In the park you can enjoy a videogame area, spaces for playing paddle tennis, indoor soccer and basketball, arcade machines, mechanical bull, inflatables for young people, climbing wall and solowheels. In addition, paddle tournaments and competitions, Fifa 19, mechanical bull and free throw competitions will also be held. Admission is free and registration to tournaments can be done for free on the same day at the park.
In addition, Salou wants to face 2019 with enthusiasm from the start and with this goal the council has also scheduled a year-end party designed to accommodate all audiences, especially the family, who often finds limitations to enjoy the nightlife on such marked dates. The content of the event will keep the festive spirit with Dj's, adding animation for children with the aim of integrating them in the celebration and make them part of the evening.
Admission to the party is also free, but it is necessary to purchase the invitation at the Youth Information Point, located in Masia Tous (C / María Castillo, corner of Montserrat Street) from Monday to Friday from 10am to 1pm and from 5pm to 8pm , or the same night at the Salou Ponent Pavilion. Invitations will be valid until full, and minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The Councilor for Youth, David Gonzalez, wanted to emphasize that "from the council, one more year, we are back to bet on a New Year party for the whole family, so that everyone, small and large, can enjoy this popular party" . González also made reference to the Parc Jove de Navidad, noting that "this new edition has the climbing wall, solowheels and recreational machines as novelties and widens the range of video games to accommodate the diversity of tastes among young people."
