The Salou Rally of Salou "starts" in the kitchens next Friday

Salou. Costa Dorada. 16 October 2018. Coinciding with the start of the RallyRacc-Catalunya Costa Daurada, Salou organizes a very different "rally": that of gastronomy. From October 19 to 28 a new edition of the Tapas Rally begins, which will take advantage of the increase in visitors to the city due to the sports event. Some thirty establishments will participate with their best gastronomic creations in the form of tapas that visitors and followers of the motor world will be able to taste. They will go to the capital of the Costa Dorada to see the vehicles participating in the rally.

It is an initiative of the Department of Promotion and Economic Promotion and Commerce of the City of Salou that aims to promote the wide range of cuisine in the municipality, and has the main collaboration of San Miguel beer and the cooperation of the RACC Rally, and the Association of Merchants and Businessmen of Salou.

This morning, this 'Tapas Rally for Salou' circuit was presented at the municipality's Moss restaurant, which will last ten days; from Friday October 19 and until Sunday October 28 and for only 2.5 euros with drinks included, participants can taste delicious tapas. In addition, for the fifth consecutive year the Mini Rally of tapas also adds to the gastronomic experience with an important presence, in this case to be able to have tapas with the family and offer tastings for the smallest of the house that will be served with a non-alcoholic drink .

According to the councilor of the area, Martina Fourrier, "with the Tapas Rally to seasonally adjust the season with a quality proposal that is already part of the essential events of the gastronomic autumn of Salou".

On the back of the official Tapas Rally book, where you can seal up to 10 establishments, you can vote for the best tasting, the most original, and the best service, and enter the raffle for gifts. Note that at the end of the 'Rally of Tapas by Salou' will be a ranking of the best tastings that will be made public with the corresponding recognition to the restorer who obtained it.

Remember also that from the Association of Merchants and Entrepreneurs of Salou will take place the Salouween, in which the shop windows of the different participating establishments will be themed with Halloween motifs. In order to complement the Salouween, they will also organize a photo contest for Instagram and Facebook related to the campaign with #Salouween2018 and #Shoppingsalou.
