The Salou Art Festival, a showcase for local artists

The talent of the local artists will be evident one more year with the Salou Art Festival, a showcase for them to make known their virtues in the "bel canto", music or dance. The square of the Autonomous Communities will host this Saturday the second edition of the festival. The presenter of the session will be -one more year- the television journalist Jordi Vinyoles of TAC12 who will host the festival that will start at 9:00 p.m. and that will last until after midnight. The Department of Culture and Festivities of the City Council is responsible for the organization of the music and dance festival where local artists "can show their musical knowledge and vocal within the framework of the summer parties of the municipality because we believe that we must give a space of large format that the public can know the artistic capacity that our municipality generates ", pointed the councilor of the M ª José Rodríguez area.

This year the poster includes some artists who already performed last year as the sopranos Melanie Scolamacchia and Lucia Méndez, accompanied on piano by Carlos Bujosa. This trio will offer during the recital both duets and solos with and without the support of the piano.

This year, as a novelty, from the councilor of culture and parties introduce the Brazilian culture dance of one of the groups that rehearse in the public facilities of Salou; It's about Natives.
