Irish tour operators get to know the family offer of the Costa Dorada

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. 31st May 2012. Representatives of Irish tour operators visited the Costa Daurada these days, thanks to the Spanish Tourist Office in Ireland and follow a program of visits made from the Tourism Council of Tarragona Province. During their stay they met part of tourism in the Gold Coast for families. Since Saturday, May 27, and until yesterday, 30 May, a group of nine representatives of the Irish Tour Operators (Travel Icon, BSGT, Freedom Travel, PK Travel, Travel Counsellor, Killineytravel, Thomas Cook Holidays, Travel Roscrea, Sports Travel Leopardstown) visited the Gold Coast. The group has been invited by the Spanish Office of Tourism Ireland, which requested the Provincial Tourist Board in charge of planning the program of visits to the Gold Coast, with the goal options presented by audiences in the area. From the Provincial Tourist Board is supported by the Office of Tourism boards and Cambrils, Salou, Reus, Vila-seca, Calafell, El Vendrell and Tarragona, in addition to PortAventura. During his stay at the Costa Daurada have known all four municipalities in the area known as Family Holiday Destinations for the Government: Salou-trip with the tourist train, stay at BoscAventura and walkway, and a visit to the light source - Cambrils, to learn the cuisine of the Costa Dorada, the town and made a cruise to-Salou, Calafell to visit the Citadel and Iberian-Vilaseca, know where the supply of health and wellness tourism, the hotels and enjoy the dolphin-Aquópolis. He also visited Port Aventura, Reus and the Gaudí Centre, the Pau Casals Museum in El Vendrell and a guided tour of the heritage of the Roman city of Tarragona.
