Special Prize at the Music Conservatory of Tarragona

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. The School of Music and the Council will offer concerts in Tarragona Extraordinary Awards on Friday 9 December 2011. Are eligible for this call students who have completed their undergraduate professional qualification to excel in subjects as music history, harmony, chamber music and instrument. This year presents a special award Aureli Andrés Ferrer (tuba), Dario Miranda Barroso (guitar and music history), Berta Brull Sardana (piano), Marc Diaz Callao (organ and harmony), Andrew Gasull Catalan (horn) Eugenia Ostas (violin) and Gerard Ramos Brown (piano). Note that the call is that most candidates were presented, and for the first time, participating specialties as organ instrumental, horn and tuba. The concerts of chamber music instrument and will be held at the Xavier Hall of the Conservatory goals, and the organ concert will be at the Church of Puebla de Mafumet. Admission is free. In the last year, were awarded prizes at Rosary Carceller Gallardo (Prize of Honour clarinet) and James Eiximenis Ferré (Honor Award for chamber music for saxophone and Honorable Mention). Currently these students are taking higher education in their specialty instrumental ESMUC (School of Music of Catalonia).
