Vilaseca. Costa Dorada. The Blood and Tissue Bank, together with the Municipality of Vila-seca, the Association of Blood Donors of Tarragona, the Residence Vilaseca and Health Area of Vila-seca, organizes the 4th Marathon Donation Blood in the town, which will take place on Saturday 22 October 2011, 10 am to 10 pm at the Residence Vila-seca. Every year, the marathon will feature the collaboration of many entities that Vilaseca coordinate a series of activities during the day with refreshments, free daycare for children and different gifts, like a entrance to PortAventura for each donor. To be, just be over 18 years and weigh 50 kg or more. The aim of this event is to raise awareness about the need to make blood donation a habit, attract new donors and to achieve a significant number of donations during the day.
