The renewal of the cycle lane of the Josep Carner street begins

Salou. Costa Dorada. 15 November 2018. The stretch of Carrer Josep Carner was between Carrer Major and the Paseo Jaume I presents these days a new aspect, since the City Council has decided to act on the red asphalt pavement indicated by the bike lane. The works affect an area of 373.75 square meters, where the refurbishing asphalt pavement has been adjusted, mainly the red bearing layer and the modification of the existing horizontal signaling. On Thursdays and Fridays the asphalt works were carried out and now it remains during the completion of the works with the painting of the new pedestrian crossing, and the painting of the symbols and corresponding lines. The maintenance works of the city have been awarded for an amount of € 22,560.65. These are works that seek to improve the accessibility of bicycles by creating exclusive lanes.
