PortAventura rewards its visitor 60 million in Bilbao

Already more than 60 million people have visited PortAventura since the doors opened 18 years ago. To celebrate, the Count Draco , the new resort character who loves numbers and counting , traveled to Bilbao to surprise the Lima - Alfambra family since its membership is the number 60 million.

Joan , Marian , and small Itxasne and Lucas, natives of Bilbao , visited the resort this summer , staying at the Hotel Gold River . Marian Alfambra commented : " It was the first time visiting PortAventura since the four of us and we love the park. Additionally, we always try to stay at one of their hotels for the convenience of being so close to amenities ."

The Count Draco surprised the family in the restaurant with some friends to give the award, consisting of a one week stay in Hotel Gold River , set in the Wild West . Fernando Aldecoa , resort general manager , said: "Getting the number 60 million visitors, the same year that PortAventura gets its majority of age, is a great satisfaction for us . Hopefully we can continue growing and celebrating with all the people we visit " .

Many Basques choose the PortAventura resort as a destination for their holidays and short to be the perfect place to enjoy unforgettable days with family or friends. The Lima Alfambra family is part of the more than 100,000 Basques who have visited the park last year , coming 47'2 % of Vizcaya , Guipuzcoa 42'4 % and 10'4 % of Alava.
