Salou. Costa Dorada. 22 October 2015. Reus, one of the commercial cities with a higher power of attraction on the Costa Dorada, expand its leisure and commercial offer from November 6, 2015 with the opening of La Fira Mall, a new complex with a sales area more than 28,000 square meters, with more than 60 shops where there will be a number of iconic brands in the sectors of fashion, catering, leisure, accessories, technology and food, among others.


The Fair Mall is presented as an integrated urban and commercial center of Reus, semi and aims to be a center of commercial attraction for the city and its area of ​​influence for unique building.


The building is located in the space formerly occupied by the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Reus, popularly known as the Fira, near the Parc Sant Jordi. The building has six floors, three of them dedicated to trade and leisure and a fourth dedicated to the restoration, in addition to also have two floors of underground parking. With an investment of 110 million euros, the Fair Trade Center has 41,700 square meters, of which 28,642 will go to shopping area. The car park has 853 parking spaces.

During construction of the new shopping center in Fira have worked in recent months, an average of a thousand people, while, once the center is open, it is expected that some 600 direct jobs will be created.

As for operators and trademarks in this new complex, part corresponds to operators and local companies, while most of the firms are multinational brands such as Inditex, H & M, Cortefiel, Aldi, etc. In Fira there will be a bowling alley and a plant dedicated to the restoration.

The new shopping center will open during the hours set out in the rules of trading hours.
The Fair Shopping Centre will be open from Monday to Saturday, 10 to 22 hours, a schedule that will be extended to local entertainment and dining as follows:

Shopping area:

Monday through Saturday, from 10 to 22 h

Entertainment and dining area:

Monday through Thursday, from 10 to 24 h

Fridays, Saturdays and eve of public holidays from 10-2 h

Sundays from 11-24 h

The Fira Trade Centre expects to be a pole of attraction for the 325,000 people living within a 15 minute drive, an area that includes the towns of Reus, Vila-seca, Salou and Cambrils. In a wider area, about 30 minutes drive away, the center also plans to attract buyers of Tarragona, Valls, Torredembarra and El Vendrell, so that the potential population exceeds 500,000.
