More than 30,000 people enjoy the great Cós Blanc celebration in Salou

Salou. Costa Dorada. 04 February 2018. The Cós Blanc de Salou celebration attracted more than 30,000 people, something that was already expected in accordance with the previous editions. The attendees enjoyed the set of lights, confetti, music and fantasy, which drew a perfect stage where 28 trucks marched through Calle Reus and Carrer Barcelona.

The 20 cannons of confetti distributed along the street threw 20 tons of confetti in the air; in addition to those who launched the same gangs from the trolleys. Thus, the capital of the Costa Daurada returned to live a new edition of the most multitudinous act of the Winter Festival. Yesterday, a large device of more than 350 people, which guarded the good functioning of the parade (through a plan of self protection that includes the Local Police, the Mossos d'Esquadra, Civil Protection, ambulances, Firemen companies of security, neighbors, municipal workers and volunteers) and more than 2,500 people participating directly.

The Mayor, Pere Granados, emphasized "the correct operation of the device" and wanted "to thank the effort of all the people who are involved in the festival for its good development." And, according to sources from the Local Police, there was a very important volume of vehicles that moved to the capital of the Costa Daurada to see and live the night of the confetti, filling the disused parking spaces signposted everywhere. Most vehicles entered the C-14 road.

On the streets of Ciutat de Reus, yesterday, they marched pastels with costumes of Mary Popins; of Charleston; by spiderman and wonder woman, of robots; of sailors; of eggs or of jungle animals ... between a long etcetera.

Many people arrived from the towns around and also from the rest of Spain and abroad, they did not want to miss the rain of papers, in a spectacle that also became a tourist attraction in the low season.
