Aquateràpia course for people with disabilities in the municipal swimming pool in Salou

Salou. Costa Dorada. The Association of People with Disabilities Aquamarine Salou and AQUA-Iara, with the support of the City of Salou, is organizing a course of AQUATERÀPIA  organised by "AQUA-Iara, aquatic therapy method that encourages the mobility of joints and widely improve psychomotor development among other aspects. This is a course aimed at children, parents and caregivers of children with disabilities. There will be a demonstration of the method of character for free on Saturdays 15 and 22 January 2011 at the Municipal Pool Cover Salou from 17 to 19 hours. To develop the activity, there will be the involvement of parents or carers and will be led by Professor Gabriela Baldini Iara Aqua-creator of the Method, an expert on the subject, who has been working for years in the area of Education, Disability and Aquatic Therapy. This activity aims to integrate parents and caregivers so they can collaborate and learn the methodology of aquatic intervention. The exercises promote safe mobility of joints and improve psychomotor development largely among other therapeutic targets. The method Aquateràpia with Aqua-Iara is very beneficial for these kids, because the method has a psychomotor nature, group and leisure that provides an excellent motivation in all areas of psychomotor development, social and emotional-affective In addition to raising self-esteem, promoting body perception, intensified relationship parent and child, increases the level of autonomy and improved quality of life. This competition aims to promote free activity beginning in late January or early February and will consist of a total of 20 seats.
