Hotel Blaumar reopens more environmentally sustainable than ever

Salou. Costa Dorada. 01 April 2022. The Blaumar Hotel in Salou, the only one located on the Paseo Marítimo of the capital of the Costa Dorada, opens its doors on April 1 to welcome visitors and tourists, and especially the families that constitute its main public. This opening is marked by new measures aimed at making the hotel more sustainable and environmentally safe for its guests, for Salou and for the planet.

The novelties incorporated this season are the following:

1. Installation of two electric car chargers.
2. The soaps that customers leave in the rooms will be recycled by hand in the soap dish and reused to make new ones.
3. In the buffet restaurant, coffee from fair trade will be provided with paper capsules made from non-chlorinated, recyclable and degradable natural fibers.
4. Installation of a virtual concierge with instant chat to improve and streamline communication with clients and provide assistance at any time, before or during their stay.
5. Installation of a TV channel in the rooms where the client will find all the necessary information about the hotel services. A directory to improve communication with guests and eliminate as much as possible the consumption of letters, directories and other paper documents.
6. ECO Corner space. A relaxation area where the numerous environmental initiatives carried out in the Hotel Blaumar facilities are disclosed, which were pioneers in the hotel industry of the Costa Dorada in obtaining the European EMAS certificate for environmental management in the year 2000. A space that teaches users what they can do to contribute to caring for the planet while they are at the hotel.
7. The delivery of a live cactus as a gift to welcome and thank the guest for adopting it. A QR code is printed on the ecological packaging that shows the instructions for caring for the cactus and invites you to share its growth with the hotel's community of followers.
