El Vendrell. Costa Dorada. 26th March 2012. El Vendrell. Costa Dorada. The Track. Music Contest Vendrell 2012, already has the finalists. On 22 February enrollment period ended. In this edition, we highlight particularly successful participation. In total, 173 bands have signed up around Catalonia. Finalists of the Track Members of the Jury Track are: - Rob Hingley "Bucket", guitar and lead singer of The Toasters (NY) - Consol Saenz, presenter of The Big Quilombo Radio 3 and Radio 4 Music clandestine - Jordi Lopez, representing the Association of Musicians and the Lower Penedès musician - Lali Pujol representative of the company and production manegament Mistletoe - Paul Saura (Homo-Orquéstriens), man-band singer, winner of the 2011 Track This, after evaluating the various stages of selection, chose the six finalists: - 9SON - Latin Rumba Catalan - Barcelona - ACOUSTERS - Folk Pop - Girona - BATAK - Reggae ska folk - Vallès Oriental - Fetish 13 - Hip hop reggae soul - Reus - Garlic LOLLIPOPS - Rock - Lleida - KILL ME LATER - Rock - El Vendrell The two groups are booking: - MICUIT - Rumba Catalan - Barcelona - Wake Atomic - Funk - Solsona These six groups recorded during the month of April 2012, the studio's Casamurada a CD in which there is a song from each group. The organization spread this CD to the media, businesses and government representation, and give each group 25 copies for personal use. So on Saturday, 28 July 2012, within minutes of the Festival of El Vendrell, the six groups finalists will a live performance in which the jury will choose the top three groups. After this action, the moment will come from the group invited to this year's Track, the New York group The Toasters.
