On January 6 and 7, Castelló again regains life




Vandellòs. Costa Dorada. On 6 and 7 January 2012 the Masia of Castelló will have life because it celebrates the nativity scene. The coal, the bakery, the era of wheat, enough, forging ... more than 30 areas of this small mountain town will be back filled with noise, movement, activity, smells like ... 100 years ago. The Masia of Castello is a village 27 houses, which was deserted in 1950. Located in the southern region of Baix  Camp in the town of Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant, in the middle of the coastal mountain range. In 1997 the Association of Castello house launched a project to recover the natural, historic, cultural and architectural heritage of the house. Then Castello was a place inaccessible. During the year the Association organizes various activities to achieve their goals. At Christmas, for fourteen years, Castelló beats again with the nativity scene. The Nativity of the stars, so called, is very unique, not only spot and the goal is (to recover Castellón), but because it is true for 100 people in life ... The public can walk the streets watching the scenes and mixing with the unusual residents of the village who do what they had done years ago and had been asked by their parents or grandparents. A true Christmas show because the scenes drawing a frame full of feelings, many have already forgotten. On October 26, 1600 people enjoyed this place. Now the 6th and 7th of January, the public will have another opportunity to attend, and enjoy the 6th and the kings down the mountain on horseback to be received in Castellón with "torches" a kind of torch lavender, which guided the three kings to the stable where Jesus was born. The organization has 300 employees who make it possible for the Nativity of Castello is a reference to Christmas in our region.
