This Friday 23rd April will open the Cultural Symposium XXIII Vandellòs

Vandellòs. Costa Dorada. The day of St. George's, Friday April 23, at 8pm, the scheduled inauguration of the Cultural Days of Vandellòs XXIII, organized by the Cultural Centre of Sports and Recreational Vandellòs (CCERV) sponsored by the City Council and the collaboration of 14 organizations and local businesses. This event will take place in the auditorium of the municipal and village will be given by renowned telecommunications engineer Xavier Peiró, Mayor and President Joseph Castellnou CCERV Joan Ramon Benaiges. Benaiges pointed out the presence of Peiró, arguing: "Every year we choose a preacher who is a neighbor of Vandellòs and has excelled in his profession. This is the case of Xavier, who is currently associate professor at Pompeu Fabra University; i2CAT Foundation Executive Director, Deputy Director of the company ADTEL Systems telecommunications and member of the Board of the College Journal of Telecommunications Engineers of Catalonia. Previously, Peiró held the position of assistant director of the Centre for Telecommunications and Information Technologies of the Generalitat de Catalunya (January 1995 to September 1997) and Managing Director (from September 1997 to July 2000) as well as director of network communications and dissemination of Catalan Television (from September 1983 to December 1994), among other charges. The inaugural event will be the starting point for a program of activities that take place between the months of April, May and June, which includes more than twenty cultural events of all kinds and for all ages . For example, several workshops (theatrical makeup, creative cooking, tasting beers id'elaboració a coal), contests (of puzzles, monologues, painting fast piece of rice); theatrical shows children, a popular hike, an end of year festival of dance, among others. This year there is even the more traditional events such as the fifth edition of the Three Tombs, St. John's Eve.
