Terrània gives beginning to the program of autumn festivals of Montblanc

On Friday 25th September evening is initiated, with the opening of the market in the former church of Sant Francesc, the seventh edition of Terrània, the International Festival of Ceramic that days will take place September 25, 26 and 27 in Montblanc, the capital of the Conca of Barberà. The festival will have a central show, located again the former church of San Francisco, where ceramistas of Catalonia, Spain, France, Germany and United Kingdom will explain his work and where visitors that wish it will be able to acquire items. In the Chamber Sanfeliu will have a collective show of all participants in Terrània. The collected economic amount will be given to the Fair Tourism NGO. Municipal collaboration For the first time, the Town hall of Montblanc will take in a ceramic show during the celebration of the festival. It is a question of a yielded show for Handicraft of Catalonia, the main co-sponsor of Terrània, that will contribute a festival of the black ceramic tradition of Quart and of Verdú. Experimental ovens Experimental ovens have always been one of the elements more spectacular of Terrània and visitors that it know expect a moment that always result magical. In this edition will have two. The first one will be done on Friday night to the just released square of the Jewish ones, where a piece will be cooked that will happen to be part of the urban furniture of the burgh. The second, as already is tradition, will be done in the square of San Francisco on Saturday night. This year will have an image projection combination, music and a ceramic baking that will take place in the square. Although the path relatively short of the festival, Terrània has become a referent for the lovers of the artistic ceramic quality and one of the handcrafted events more important of Catalonia.
