Tarragona. Costa Dorada. Tarragona Province supports the 31st International Music Festival, Pablo Casals, Vendrell held since 1991 in tribute to the musician. The agreement between the Municipal Auditorium Pablo Casals, the event organizer, and Tarragona Province to promote their organization's activities, planned for next July and August. The chairman of the council of Tarragona, Josep Poblet, and the President of the Municipal Auditorium Pablo Casals, Marta Tutusaus have signed the agreement this morning that regulates a financial contribution of the Province of 24,000 euros, to finance part of the regular program the Auditorium, among which figure the International Music Festival dedicated to Pablo Casals. This agreement reaffirms the intention of Tarragona Province to support culture throughout the territory, and in this case, the International Music Festival, with the presence of renowned musical groups and, therefore, contributes to promotion and dissemination at the international level of the municipality of El Vendrell. 31st International Music Festival, Pablo Casals With the aim of paying tribute to Pablo Casals, the great musician and deep humanist, was initiated in 1991 the International Music Festival, Pablo Casals, which brings together the best performers and best foreign formations around the world and the country . This year it will feature performances by the cellist Mischa Maisky, pianist Joaquin Achucarro with the Symphony Orchestra Camerata XXI, also the cellist with the Ensemble Explorations Roel Dieltiens, the Chamber Orchestra of Munich Heart Zóngora Vendrell, the Chamber Orchestra Berg, 1750 and the Academy of Spanish Brass Luur Metals, among others.
