Tarraco Viva, or returning to the Roman Empire, from 18 to 30 May

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. A year raised in Tarragona for two weeks, the spirit of the Roman Empire that both mark the future of the municipality of the Costa Daurada through the XII Tarraco Viva. This year the event will be held from 18 to 30 May. The festival raises this year Tarraco Viva classical culture as its central theme. Seneca, Martial literature and art and architecture of classical Rome lead the program of events.   Regarding the number of events have been organized over a hundred different activities in 26 areas located in various parts of the capital of the Costa Dorada and in other nearby municipalities. Another innovation that has the Tarraco Viva 2010 is the Humanitas Project, whose goal is to make everything related to the classical culture of ancient Rome. To this end, activities have been organized to publicize the work of Seneca and Martial and the Roman art and architecture.
