Hotel companies 4R-Hotels, Best Hotels Inver & Gesture and signed by the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, an agreement between the municipal job, so that these companies will present the job of municipal Salou when making their recruitment processes. Before other companies in the tourism sector salouenc had signed this agreement. This is the case, among others, Altesport 2000 SL, Camping Sangulí SAU Tourism Services Salauris Brisasol 2008 or SLU. At the signing of the agreement, plus the mayor were also present Councillor of Economic Management, Jesus Barragan, Francesc Xavier Roig, the 4R-Hotels, David Battle, Best Hotels Limited and Edward Farriol , of Inver Gest & SA. There are currently twenty companies belonging to the municipal labor exchange tool that, according to the mayor, is to 'provide employment options to people who unfortunately are on the dole. For his part, Francesc Xavier Roig, 4R-of Hotels, said, at the end of the meeting, the four hotel establishments that manage their business in Salou, at least half the workforce is resident in the municipality. Roig said the signing of the agreement formalized a practice that the company continues as usual.
