Salou hosts the championship of Catalonia Beach Volleyball

Salou. Costa Dorada. This weekend, 30 and 31 July 2011, the Levante beach in Salou Catalonia will host the beach volleyball championship 2011. This championship is the only official competition in the discipline in which players / be eligible for federal title of Champion of Catalonia. Players from all towns both in Catalonia and Spain and include different nationalities aged between 20 and 45 in total category and between 16 and 19 years in the minor category. This circuit is growing as evidenced by the amount of people every year take part in the competition with an average participation of 200 players / s and an audience of 1,000 people per weekend. As for the schedule of competitions, on Saturday from 10 to 20 hours will be held prior to the senior phase classification in the final test with 40 couples in senior men and 40 women. On Sunday 31 and from 10 to 20 hours will be held the final phase of the 16 best senior couples, 8 of the pre-classified most of the top 8 national ranking and Catalan and the subsequent delivery of trophies. It also will host the finals in the category of the 20 couples with children under age 19 in men and women and the subsequent delivery of trophies. The facilities consist of a championship center court in the finals to be played and the games more attractive, and 5 auxiliary tracks located around the center court to act as reinforcement of the center court where they played both the preliminary matches and the final phase. The total area of ​​the facilities is 2000 square meters.
