Salou adheres to manifest Women's Day to defend gender equality

Salou. Costa Dorada. The International Women's Day, the City of Salou has joined the Manifesto read in the councils of various cities in Spain. The Mayor of Salou, Councillor Peter Granados and Social Action, Anna Narbonne with a representation of men and women of the city have read a manifesto to symbolize the struggle of women throughout the world for equality . A show that has collected a series of milestones "should allow to achieve that equality is an everyday occurrence everywhere and overwhelming in terms of employment, social, political and personal." The manifesto stressed in its final part, "They need men and women we strive to build relationships of respect and freedom that our society can be a better place." Information and Advice for Women Subsequently, the Councillor for Social Action with Two techniques of Information and Advice for Women presented the first report of this activity and the course of Mental Health Workshop to be held on 23 March 2011 . A total of 109 women have been served by this service. These are women with an average age around 37 years. In relation to nationality, over half are Spanish, the rest is divided among women and South America Mon center first, followed by Eastern Europe and finally women of the African continent. Approximately 90% of women have been given legal advice to be given usually between one and two times the lawyer. On the other hand, 65.4% of the women who received counseling and are given an average of three sessions by the psychologist. The SIAD is a service specifically aimed at women who was born a year ago and which offers information, counseling, primary care and support in social, occupational, educational, community, legal and psychological. The SIAD PLAN planned to gender equality provisions of the City of Salou and is in force from 2009 until 2013, one of its axes of intervention, particularly in Health, Welfare and quality of life.   The SIAD is closely coordinated with the core team of Primary and Social Care in touch with other services and resources of the municipality as Autonomous Police or Primary Health Care Centre.
