Vandellòs Hospitalet de l'Infant added to the celebration of European Heritage Days in Catalonia 2011, driven by the Council of Europe and the Ministry of Culture of the Government, with support from the Catalan Municipalities Asssociació and the Federation of Municipalities of Catalonia. It will do this week and next, that is when the City Council has organized several activities to promote the heritage of the municipality. So, for next Friday, 30 September 2011, is expected to present the Master Plan for rehabilitation of the hospital Gothic L'Hospitalet de L'Infant, at 20 am in Room Pedro Infante. This event will be led by the architects J. Figuerola, J. Gavaldà and J. Romero and Professor of Art History at the University of Barcelona, ​​Antonio Conejo. Conejo is precisely those who n'ocuparà guided tour of the Cultural Asset of National Interest (BCIN), listed as a Historic-Artistic Monument on Saturday, October 1 at 12 pm. With the same aim of bringing the rich heritage Vandellòs Hospitalet and the public, the council has prepared for Sunday October 2, a guided tour of Civil War fortifications in Hospitalet de l'Infant , entitled "The route of the prisoners." Participants will discover this activity, with the help of the local historian Alfonso Tejero, several historical sites such as the artillery battery of Goose Creek, the powder magazines in the plane of the apricot, the battery of cannons Pitrassa and the bunker hill of the Wind. The program of the European Heritage Days in the town will close on Friday 7 October at 20.30, with the presentation of the proposed rehabilitation of Ca in the Tower Auditorium Vandellòs.
