The Claret Piano Quartet in Concert at the Auditorio de Vila-seca




Vila-seca. Costa Dorada. On Friday 29 January at the Auditorio José Carreras in Vila-seca, the members of the Claret Piano Quartet will offer a concert with works by Schubert. The four components of the Claret Piano Quartet, although each of them develop an intense activity as performers and educators, as teachers were matched in the International Music Course of Vic (Barcelona). There they decided to pool their musical affinities around the piano quartet repertoire and May 97, the Basque country, took place the first set of actions. Gerard Claret, violin. Born in Andorra since the start of his professional life for over thirty five years, was known for his dual aspect as a performer and pedagogue. He has performed with orchestras in Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Czechoslovakia, Turkey, Russia and Japan. He also founded the School of Music, Barcelona, Curso Internacional de Música de Vic Barcelona Trio. It is artistic director of the International Festival of Music "Narciso Yepes" Andorra and Foundation Member of the Palau de la Musica Orfeo Catalan Catalan Cristian Ifrim, viola. He graduated from the University of Bucharest music as a violinist and violist. He was first violinist of the Philharmonic of Bucharest and then viola the Symphony Orchestra of Euskadi. Recognized as first violinist with the Quartet Pro Musica of Bucharest Philharmonic in Colmar (France), and First Prize in the contest Nicanor Zabaleta. Since 1986 Collective works with Alberto Iglesias in the making of music for the films of Almodovar. Lluis Claret, cello. Born in Andorra, was first prize in international competitions Bologna (1,975), Pablo Casals (1,976) and Rostropovich (1,977). Their repertoire ranges from Bach to the contemporary, including premieres, concerts and plays first dedicated Dutilleux, Lutoslawski, Boulez, Xenakis, Ducol, Bleuse, Guinjoan Charles. He founded the "Trio" of Barcelona (1981-1993). It is often invited as a soloist with orchestras including the Orchestra of Washington, the Moscow Philharmonic. Maruxa Llorente, piano. He studied at the Conservatory of Music in San Sebastian and the National Conservatory of Music in Paris. He has attended courses with Alicia de Larrocha interpretation Joaquin Achúcarro, Lev Vlasenco and Joaquin Soriano. He has won several awards in France and Spain should be noted that among the First Prize in the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, de Compostela  First Prize and the city of Albacete, regularly with international artists.   See agenda Mario Lisarde, bass. Musically trained and Jaime Robles (Soloist of the ONE), has been a member of the JONDE and was awarded a scholarship to further studies with Th. Martin at the Guildhall School (London). He has also worked with Janne Saksala (Berlin Philharmonic), Harke Wiersma (Rotterdam Philharmonic) and Anthony Woodrod.
