The beaches of Salou Q renew the flag for the second year

Salou. Costa Dorada. The mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, along with Councilman ,  Alberto del Hierro and Tourism and Planning Councillor, Marc Montagut, have raised the flag of the system Q of Tourist Quality for the beaches east and west of Salou that were awarded On 14 June the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce. Salou has been recognized for the quality of services, features and maintenance of its beaches. This year has acknowledged the certification standards for a total of 152 beaches, 29% more than in 2009. Specifically, Catalonia has received 17 flags. This is the second consecutive year that these beaches receive certification. The Councillor for Tourism, Alberto del Hierro, noted that "flags obtained show commitment to the quality of tourist services of Salou and, ultimately, to visitors and citizens of Salou, find excellence during their stay with us. " In the meanwhile, the mayor of Salou has emphasized that "efforts to provide the best quality in our beaches for its citizens and visitors are guaranteed with this new certification positions us as a benchmark of quality." These beaches are certified ISO 14.001:2004 environmental quality and the Levante beach with Blue Flag. Salou is one of the few sun and beach destinations in Catalonia that has this distinctive quality, and unique to the Costa Dorada. Both beaches, remember, are also certified ISO 14001 environmental quality, which is also implemented in other beaches. The Levante beach, also has the blue flag dropped, as has the beach and the marina priests.
