12,000 young people participate in this summer 215 summer activities in Tarragona




Tarragona. Costa Dorada. 17th July 2012. A total of 10,614 children and 1364 monitors this summer participating in educational and recreational activities in the regions of Alt Camp, Baix Camp, Baix Penedes, Conca de Barbera, Priorat and Tarragona.  According to data collected by the Directorate General of Youth Department of Social Welfare and Family Camp activities are the busiest holiday camps (142), followed by the colonies (47), the camps (19), the fields work (5) and routes (2).   The region where there are more activities Tarragona is a total of 64, followed by the Baix Camp (56), Conca de Barbera (35), the Alt Camp (25), Baix Penedès (22) and the Priorat (13).   The Director General of Youth, Toni Reig, has now moved to the area to monitor the development of some of these activities.
