Coso Blanco 2023: date, times and route

Salou. Costa Dorada. 21 January 2023. After 2 years without the Coso Blanco due to the pandemic, Salou will turn its doors this February 4, 2023, in the celebration of one of the most festive and participatory events on the Costa Dorada. Twenty-seven collas or groups will participate in the Coso Blanco, which will tour some of the streets of Salou under an intense rain of confetti fired from 20 cannons. And all this well enlivened with the best music of the moment and a laser light show, with 10 bridges of light, and music, with 120,000 watts. Without a doubt, the Coso Blanco in one of the best parties in Salou and the Costa Dorada.

In the morning, around 11 a.m., the show-off parade is held, which will pass through C/ Advocat Gallego, from where the departure will take place, to continue along C/ Carrilet, C/ Barcelona, Paseo Jaume I to the bus station and Return along Paseo Jaume I, C/ Barcelona, Via Roma and return to C/ Advocat Gallego.

In the morning, the contest for the best costume, the best cart and the best comparsa will be held.

The parade and festival of the Coso Blanco in Salou will be at 7:00 p.m., although the floats will gather from 6:30 p.m. at the starting point, which is on Advocat Gallego street. The route of the parade is as follows: departure from C/ Advocat Gallego, C/ Carrilet, C/ Joan Manuel Muñoz, C/ Ciutat de Reus, Via Roma, C/ Barcelona, C/ Sínies, C/ Ciutat de Reus, Via Rome and C/ Barcelona. All the groups and floats do this route twice while the confetti does not stop falling to the rhythm of the most popular songs.

On the same day, at 2:00 pm, there will be a vermouth in the tent as well as inflatables and a DJ session organized by the Youth Department of the Salou City Council. In the same space at 5:00 p.m. there will be a concert by the Selvatana orchestra. This same formation will be in charge of the dance organized from 12 at night in the same space.
