Salou begins the first phase of its pavement improvement plan

Salou City Council has begun the first phase of its pavement improvement plan, an initiative that will renovate several sections across the municipality with the aim of improving pedestrian safety, removing architectural barriers and enhancing accessibility.

This first phase includes works numbered 1 to 12 in the work plan, as well as an intervention on Via Aurèlia. Work is also being carried out simultaneously on Caçadors Street.

The works will be carried out in stages over the coming weeks to minimise disruption to mobility. The improvements will mainly involve renewing pavement surfaces, repairing damaged sections and adapting pedestrian routes to make it easier for people with reduced mobility, families with pushchairs and older people to get around.
