A Christmas market and 17 daily shows at PortAventura Christmas

Salou. Costa Dorada. 30 November 2013. Christmas has come to PortAventura and since 23rd November, the resort has become a space of illusion and fantasy where children can enjoy a Christmas atmosphere . With 17 daily shows created especially for these dates , as well as dramatic lighting and decoration full of firs and traditional ornaments , PortAventura becomes the perfect place to enjoy an unforgettable getaway or family vacation.
 
New for  2013
 
The main novelty of this year is the installation of a large Christmas market in the Mediterrània area , taking as inspiration the traditional artisan markets of the great capitals of Central Europe . A total of 31 wooden stalls offer visitors all sorts of products , from leather or wicker , to breads, artisan cheeses and crackers, and even soaps and perfumes. During market days visitors can see the work of a live ice sculptor who will shape the imagination through this particular artistic technique .

Following the tour of the Great Wall of China , PortAventura installed for the first time snowtubing : a slide designed for children but which can entertain the elderly alike . And for those who want to test their acrobatic skills in the area of Mexico, they can enjoy a fun ice rink where they can feel like real professional skaters .
 
During these days , a new movie is also released in 4-D cinema Sea Odyssey : Christmas Adventure , where fairies, reindeer and viewers themselves to be responsible to take a sweet to a child´s table. With them you will cross the entire process of preparing the dessert, traveling at full speed by the factory of Santa and live a unique adventure : we become real protagonists of the story.
 
Entertainment for the whole family
 
One more season , PortAventura has a wide range of entertainment for the whole family. Musical entertainment with acrobatics and ice skating outdoors will not miss its annual meeting at the resort , plus live music performances that will flood the park with some of the most typical songs of these dates.
 
The Grand Chinese Theatre is the scenario that welcomes the essential Christmas show . According to the legend, somewhere in the world there's a girl who does not believe in Christmas , whose worried parents decide that the only solution is to go into their dreams and take her to the Toy Factory PortAventura. An amazing and surprising musical whose attention to detail, dances and songs will transport the visitor into a world of surprises. Nor should we forget the Enchanted Forest, wizards and fairies looking for the secret shortcut that leads to the home of Santa Claus.
 
In the subject area of China comes Daria Pushankina, an artist who makes us discover how sand can create magical ways in the show Christmas Sand Animation. Younger guests can not miss its annual appointment with their favorite characters SésamoAventura . Together with Coco , Bert and Ernie this year also joins the Conde Draco to sing and dance with them clubbers carols. But the key event is undoubtedly the Royals Emissaries . Newcomers from the East, sent their majesties to tour the park collecting all the letters from children of PortAventura and put the finishing touch at Lake Mediterrània to save Christmas. And how could it be otherwise , on January 5th will be the traditional Three Kings to deliver gifts to all the children who visit the park along the most magical night of the year.
