After switching on the Christmas lights held on Friday, 29th November, Tarragona can feel the Christmas atmosphere in the streets of the city and prepare to attend or participate in the various activities that have been scheduled for these dates , from Christmas fair to the Three Kings . There are days when, as it should be , the kids they take their role, but there are also proposals for the whole family to enjoy .

As a good example there is the Christmas Fair , which opened on November 27th and you can visit right up to the day before Christmas Eve , December 23rd . The traditional fair stands and holiday items are located on the Rambla Nova and is open Sunday through Thursday from 9 to 21 h , while Friday and Saturday the hours are extended until 21.30 h . Also on the Rambla Nova, in the stretch of the Balcó Mediterrani , from December 6th to January 6th, the Craft Fair , which will be open from 10 to 22 h will be installed.

On the other hand , in the section of the Banc d{ Espanya of the Rambla Nova there will be the Singing of Carols to be held on Wednesday, December 18th from 9 to 12 h in the morning and involving schoolchildren of Tarragona.

City schoolchildren will decorate the Wishing Tree , a Christmas activity that aims to promote solidarity and participation in building the future of Tarragona. It will be on Saturday 14th December at 1pm in front of the City Hall , and students in the 3rd and 4th class will participate, representing all public schools and charter schools .

Similarly, the Metropol Theatre will host four functions of the Shepherds . On the one hand, the Company La Golfa will represent the Pastorets on Thursday 26 and Saturday, December 28th at 6:30pm , while on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 January you may see the Shepherds at La Salle .

The municipal nativities installed every year in Tarragona , this time at Solimar and the Moll de Costa .
