It launches the ' Reus per Nadal, a prop teu' Christmas campaign

With the motto " Reus per Nadal, a prop teu " the city of Reus is immersed in the Christmas spirit from the campaign that began on Friday 22nd with the lighting of Christmas lights and lasts until January 6th. The Agencia de Promoció of Reus City Council again organizes the Christmas campaign , which has the support of trade organizations in the city to develop a coordinated way and promote it and make it more attractive. With the philosophy of working together, and coordination and collaboration between the public and the private , the campaign seeks to unite and strengthen the commercial revitalization of the city and thus improve their attractiveness in a very important time for the commercial industry.

Things on the street

From 29th November to 15th December there will be the traditional Christmas Market in Mercadal Square , with the sale of typical Christmas products. Similarly, between 15th December and 5th January in the square Evaristo Fabregas ( Comercial El Paseo Pallol ), the Craft Market will be installed. On the other hand , in the square Llibertat, children's attractions will be December 4th to January 4th . It is fair to say that entertainment is also made ​​with different itineraries for the city. Also , once again , Reus Promotion Agency organizes th welcome of the New Year stroke of year´s end in Mercadal Square , with a special musical entertainment by Ivan Canovas .

Christmas Calendar

Since the Agency has published a book containing the main cultural, traditional and entertainment events taking place in Reus until January 6th, 2014 . 40,000 copies have been printed and distributed in Reus and the main towns in the vicinity of the city. Activities organized by commercial entities

The Unio de Botiguers of Reus installed the traditional Christmas tree in Mercadal Square , which will be on until January 6th.
