La Pineda. Costa Dorada. The town of La Pineda has become, during the summer 2011, the main target of the Russians in the Gold Coast, according to the Centre for Tourism Studies of the Costa Daurada. More than 15 years, entrepreneurs from the Estival Park hotel complex and the hotel Palas Pineda were the pioneers in promoting to the Russian market, which during the month of August has become the foreign visitor number 1, with 23%, 20 points higher compared to the same month of 2010. In this sense, Xavier Graset, president of the Municipal Tourism Vilaseca, that "Russian tourists are demanding and looking for quality and convenience features that meet Vilaseca * because of being in the heart of the Costa Golden, where tourists can travel easily to visit attractions such as Gaudi Reus Centre or to get to Barcelona. " In fact, 4 and 5 star hotels, along with other complementary leisure services such as spas & wellness centers, and Aquatic PortAventura La Pineda offered, form the most important requirements of the demand for Russian clients. Although the Spanish tourist majority remains throughout the year, representing almost half of all visitors to 46%, the French stood at 16% and 5.5% in English. The town of La Pineda has also received other tourists destinations such as Ireland, Holland, Germany, Belgium and Italy, among others.
