The general director of pharmaceutical Dhu Ibérica, Alex Castilla, has delivered this past week in one of Cambrils total of 25 kits that contain a specific product for treatment of jellyfish stings. This Iberian Dhu action to combat the effect of the chopped jellyfish has been carried out at the moment in Cambrils, but this first delivery is part of a broader operation of this pharmaceutical laboratory that it intends to carry out similar deals in other beaches of the catalan coast.

DHU Ibérica reparte botiquines para combatir las picadas de medusaIn Cambrils, the director general of Dhu Iberian delivered 25 kits at a ceremony in the presence of the Alderman of Tourism town, Ana Lopez, the Coordinator of the Police Local, Joan Capafonts and the Head of this body, and Joan Berguedà with the head of Sport & rescue company service responsible for rescue and relief beaches Cambrils.

The product Dhu Ibérica offers relief and Police beach for the treatment of jellyfish stings (which can be found in pharmacies in the form of gel or 'rollon' under the name InsectDHU) has been presented as a unique novelty acts positively in the case of jellyfish stings as in other cases such as bites tigre mosquito, wasp, or even black flies.

According Dhu Iberian InsectDHU is a homeopathic product that reduces both inflammation and reddening of the skin after any kind of bite and that their active ingredients contains Citronella, a product that acts as a repellent. On the other hand, the absence of ammonia facilitates tolerance, both between between adults and children.

The product, which according to one study conducted at the School Londoner of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, 'reduces significant swelling and redness of the skin' has to be applied in case of jellyfish sting or insect number times daily on the affected area to provide a 'quick feeling of freshness, 'but can also be applied so to prevent insect bites.
