Patisserie Mare Molas from Reus has recovered a typical cake of wine was produced for the first time in a famous pastry shop in the city known as Las Glorias de Reus of the nineteenth century. "It was a very popular cake throughout Catalonia, people even came to Barcelona and other cities to buy," said the owner of the bakery Mare Molas, master artisan baker Francesc Torres, who in recent days has spent hours in the oven and has succeeded in making exact replicas of the old pie.
